Credentials
Certain automations require the ability to communicate with your customers outside of the storefront. In the Credentials tab, you can securely connect your email accounts using an App Password.
Why do I need to add email credentials?
When you build a "Back in Stock" or "Preorder" automation, the system needs to send confirmation and update emails to the customers who signed up. Adding your credentials here allows the AI Operator to send those emails from your official brand address.
How to Generate a Google App Password
For security reasons, you cannot use your standard email password. Instead, you must generate a secure, 16-character App Password specifically for Celirox.
Enable 2-Step Verification
Go to your Google Account > Security. Ensure 2-Step Verification is turned ON.
Find App Passwords
In the Security tab, search for 'App passwords' in the search bar, or navigate to 2-Step Verification > App passwords at the bottom.
Generate Password
Select 'Other (Custom name)' for the app, type 'Celirox', and click Generate. Google will show you a 16-character password in a yellow box.
Add to Celirox
Go to the Celirox Credentials tab. Enter your Gmail address and paste the 16-character App Password (no spaces) into the password field. Click Save.
